always be polished. Your attires are a key factor that does not only reflect in
others opinion of you, but it also impacts the way in which you perceive
yourself.

1. Thou shall wear clean
clothes
The working hours are
strenuously long and hectic. The traffic is bad. Yes, very cogent reasons but
not excusable. Its so not professional. A gallon of perfume won’t cover that
odour.
2. Thou shall plan your outfit
the night before.
Do you know what time I get
home for work? Yes. But five minutes will do to just pick out the right suit,
shirt, and tie that blends with the selected shoe, belt and trousers.
3. Thou shall always polish
your shoes
A dusty worn-down shoes
that are clinging for dear life doesn’t scream professionalism. It must not be
the most expensive, but whatever shoe you decide to clad your feet in, it
should always be polished.
4. Thou shall match your belt
with your shoes.
Another rule for men when
it comes to corporate offices is that your belt must always match your shoes;
in terms of colour. Black is always the safe bet, but if you are going for
other colours, you must always make sure the belt matches your shoe. Matching
shoes and belt will make you look more organized and put together.
5. Thou shall tie your tie
correctly
The knot type is not as
important as the length. The essential thing to look out for is how long you
tie your tie. The rule is that your tie should touch your belt line; it should
not lower or higher.
6. Thou shall get fitted
clothes.
It is very crucial to wear
clothes in your size. The jacket, pants and shirt must be tight enough to touch
your body, but loose enough to permit you any kind of movements and not
strangle you.
Also pay attention to the
collar of your jacket and collar of your shirt. These two need to touch and no
space between them is allowed.
7. Thou shall wear dress
shirts.
Not every shirt is a dress
shirt suitable for a formal organization. A dress shirt is a shirt that
features seven or eight buttons, and no pockets.
8. Thou shall know when and
what to button in suits or vests
There are fundamentally two
rules you need to follow in this setting; firstly, if you are wearing a jacket
that has two or more buttons, you need to always unfasten the lowest button.
And secondly, when you sit
down, you should always unbutton your jacket. And when you stand up, refasten
it again.
9. Thou shall always wear the
right socks
White socks are strictly
for the gym. Black, Gray and brown socks are a safe bet for the business
office.
10. Thou shall always wear a
smile
It is the consummation of
the entire appearance. No one wants to approach the guy with the rumpled face.
So cheer-up and flash that sparkling white teeth.
Looking great will result
