According to the above picture, strict parents turn their kids into effective liars.
Dear readers, how true is this assessment?
How then can we correct children when they misbehave without being strict?
And how strict is too strict?
Please drop your opinions and suggestions in the comment box below.
Use your right hand to punish and use the left hand to draw the child closer in love so as not to get them scared. Also use different methods of punishment for Ur kids don't be too predictive by your children cuz if they get use to your one style of punishment it would be of no effect to them. Correct in love knowing that you were once a kid and kids do the darnedest things.
Being strict is relative, looking at it from the African context. To be strict is to out people in line failure of which may lead to to chaos. However, some induviindiv have taken it too far as a result of their derivation on joy to seeing people pain. Individuals who are pathological liars come from such dysfunctional system where they perfect the act of lying to avoid being punished.
This statement drives home the point. - individuals who are pathological liars come from such dysfunctional system where they perfect the act of lying to avoid being pinishep. Being a parent is no small deal. It's so important to GA n the friendship and trust of your child.
Its understandable....charity begins at home...what d child is outside is an effect of the home....strict parent pave the stage for children to lie as a survival instinct to deal with thier parents...however, children lie regardless of the kind of home they grow up in...lying in pur society as become an innate attribute wired through DNA....
One thing is true, children tell lies out of fear mostly and when they continously practice this, they get to the perfect point where they tell lies like it's nothing. So, parents should learn to be accommodating as to let children express their wrongs and find the best possible way to correct them without instilling in them fear.
Children build their lives based on the kind of upbringing they have had and this shapes the way they view life. Parents must be note the measure of friendly reconciliation between the and the children and should always create a friendly relationship
Everything is relative at the end of the day. Sometimes I think *strict* and *disciplined* might mean the same thing in the context of training children. I do believe that it is okay to say the *hard no* when the occasion demands it. I also partly subscribe to *my house my rules* (that's why I don't plan on living with my parents). But I think when a child does what you deem to be wrong, it is important to know your job is to *correct* and not lash out in anger. So, ask your self, does this make me feel better or am I correcting the child.
Ps. Take what I said with a pinch of salt...I got no children ...so what do I know💁
