Today we are about the men and their dress sense. So I came up with some useful tips to help men look good and trendy. It's not exhaustive.
1. Throw away or give out whatever you haven’t worn in over a year. You can keep an old favourite. Otherwise, throw the rest out, or donate them. Your choice though.
2. Quality last longer than quantity. This is just a suggestion.
3. There are more shoe colours than black and brown. A black belt can go with a blue, grey or red shoe. So don’t be scared to add a little colour.
4. Don’t be just a jeans guy. They are fashionable but slacks and chinos also makes you look yummy if paired well.
5. Never wear belt and suspenders together. Pick one and only one.
6. Get and wear something funky. Red, blue, green, orange, whatever.
7. Shop with a friend who can be honest with you. So you don’t get carried away with every item the sales person throws at you.
8. It is not only ladies who can stock shoes. The more the merrier.
9. Dress like a guy whose got plans that can come up at any time. So you don’t have to walk into an emergency meeting looking ...
10. Polish your shoes. Women notice that.
11. Iron your shirts. Rumpled shirts are a no no.
12. Wear jewelry. A necklace is a whooper.
13. Clean out your wallet regularly. The slimmer it is, the less wear and tear
14. Clean your clothes regularly. No one is attracted to odour.
15. Pamper your skin. Not only women go to spas.
16. Trade up to a messenger bag or a briefcase instead of a backpack.
17. You can have a full beard or mustache. But keep it neat and trim.
18. Decorate your wrist. A naked wrist is boring. A classy wristwatch, or masculine jewelry can perform wonders.
19. Stop trying too hard. Keep it simple. Dress the body you have and not the body you wish you had. You don’t want to look like a clad tree stump.
20. Go for a classy timeless piece instead of trendy clothes.
